Steve Webb throws name in the ring for Ward One

Calgary, AB, July 29, 2021 - Steve Webb, a dedicated family man, entrepreneur and community champion, has cast his ballot and filed his nomination papers with Elections Calgary to be the next Calgary City Councillor for Ward One.

“I want to work FOR the hard-working people living and working in Ward One,” said Webb.

“I’ve met with thousands of residents here over the past year, and I’ve heard a consistent message at their doors: “City Hall has forgotten about Ward One residents.”

A born-and-raised Calgarian, Webb has spent the last 20 years developing a successful construction company that has collaborated with some of Calgary’s finest hospitality businesses, subcontractors and suppliers.

Over the last two decades, he has established strong relationships throughout the city. Steve’s leadership, straight talk and customer-focused approach have not only opened doors, including creating good-paying jobs for up to 150 people on projects, but have built him a reputation for getting work done on time and on budget.

Webb is committed to good governance, innovation and real change. He offers up hands-on business experience with a passion for helping people.

The people of Ward One deserve a champion of change and representation that remembers City Hall belongs to the people.

Webb cares about the community and about what direction our city is headed in. Check out this Global National video article on one of his community volunteer initiatives. Recently, he helped Rocky Ridge residents share their concerns about a cell tower project with City Hall. He also helped Bowness residents visit loved ones in hospital.

Webb will not be afraid to stand up for Calgarians at City Hall.
